Easily implemented Solution Backup enhancement!

Postby AiRGuNNeR » October 25th, 2011, 8:57 pm

I really like the solution backup you have implemented. However, most of the time, I am only interested in backing up one particular project. I have a dozen projects in my solution and I need to uncheck 11 of them. I would love to have a button:
{Unselect All]

Not as quickly implemented, but even better would be a project backup option.

Thanks

Agreed. It should also have a menu item to backup just the currently selected project. Thanks.

Added Ctrl-A and Ctrl-D shortcuts for 'Select All' and 'Deselect All' actions respectively. BTW, there is a context menu there with those 2 items in place already, just w/o the shortcuts. Added backup current project option to the wish list for now. Thanks.

Hi Leo,

Are you familiar with the context menu to allow you to select/deselect all projects there? Just double checking.

Perhaps project selection status persistence should be put in place in one of the future version. Your selection could be save in .suo (solution user options) file, just like bookmarks do now for instance. Would that do the trick?

Thanks.
