Solution Backup & items in Solution Folders

Thanks for your excellent product Solution Backup.
I am very happy that your latest build (3.0.15) also works with 'non-standard' project types.
However there is still one (small) problem: solution items in solution folders are not included.
We these items to link our setup files, solution wide header files and other related files to our solutions.
It would be nice if these were included in the backup as well.

Thanks. I'll be glad to look into that for you. Timing is also perfect as the next version is gonna be getting some Solution Backup improvements. If you could create a small test solution, which illustrates the problem, and post it here I'd appreciate it.

Please test the attached solution with 2 C# projects and 3 additional files in a solution folder. The backup does include the C# projects but not the additional files.

Hi Robert,

It's fixed for the next version (no ETA yet). I've added finer control over solution folder files processing in the last version, which then was suppose to be applied to File Browser and Solution Backup. I took care of the first one but not the later one. Doh. Was an easy fix.

Can I get it and test it here, just to make sure that it works with 'non standard' projects too (I am using a non MS language with a project system similar to that from IronPython)

I downloaded and tested both versions.
I tested 2008 against a solution with C# projects and Solution Folders with items, and it works good
I tested 2010 against a solution with 'custom' projects and solution folders with items and it works ok too.
I did find one small problem: the $(Time3) and $(Time4) macros replace MM with the month number in stead of the minutes.

Thanks for the update. Glad it's working for you. Yeah, MM as month format is intentional there and is not a 1-to-1 .NET formatting equivalent.

I understand that MM is the month. But I do not think that is what you intended when you created the $(Time3) and $(Time4) macros.
